Submission
The Alliance has made a submission to the Community Affairs References Committee’s Inquiry into the Support at Home Program. In this submission, the Alliance examines the challenges of accessing aged care services in rural and remote areas. The Alliance has provided the Committee with eight key recommendations that focus on capacity building, equitable funding, and support that recognises the historical inequities in accessing aged care rurally, and the impacts of the tyranny of distance in providing services in geographically isolated areas.
