Provide financial support for domestic allied health students for accommodation and transport (aligned with that offered to medical students) to support rural and remote placements along with improved bursaries to compensate students for income loss while on rural or remote placement. Increase support for allied health education positions in health and community services. Support and remunerate appropriately clear governance structures that drive mechanisms for promoting clinical education such as back fill and recognition of the education role in positions descriptions and performance targets.
