Each tender distributed by PHNs to include additional funding specifically identified for local health workforce development relevant to the program. This funding can be allocated to meet local identified needs, such as organisations growing their own health professionals (AHWs, NPs, Credentialled Diabetes Educators), developing internal clinical supervsion opportunities for new graduates, supporting student placements etc.
