1. Health should not be politicized
2 State government should be removed from delivering all community based services (get the crocodiles out of the pond)
3. Local councils should resume control of the community based serviced based on community need. This needs to be done democratically via poll not consultation by with a for community leaders (exclusive).
4 I recommend the NHR prioritise that:
Health funding requests be supported with literature and evidence validating proposals.
Grants are for an initial 6 month trial, anecdotal review to report progress against projected outcomes
12 months evaluation implemented for 'proof of concept'
+ve outcomes = 5x5 year funding allocation model (not based on political bias)
Must prove +ve outcomes, demonstrated use of funds and transferable modeling so we are not repeating the same thing over and over.
