Delegates to the 14th National Rural Health Conference had the opportunity to view the finalist entries in the 2017 Friends of the Alliance poetry and photo competitions and to vote for their favourites.

Congratulations to Alexandra Stewart, Naomi Thomas and Sharon Brown for their prize-winning entries.

Alexandra Stewart received both first and second prizes in the poetry competition. Her first prize winner, Living the rural life, is published in this issue of Partyline. Her poem which won second prize, As the bush burned, will be published in the next issue.

Naomi Thomas won first prize in the photo competition for her photograph Mallee sunset over a canola paddock, published in this Partyline. Second prize winner was The Lion’s Outback Vision Van’s very first trip to Albany in her inaugural year 2016, by Sharon Brown.
