Meet the Alliance in Hobart

  • Love rural tshirt design

The National Rural Health Alliance and Friends of the Alliance will be exhibiting at the 15th National Rural Health Conference. Come along to booth 42 and meet members of the Alliance Council, staff and Friends Advisory Committee and find out about the Alliance’s work as the peak non-government organisation for rural and remote health.

The Alliance warmly invites all Conference delegates to visit our booth and pick up at #loverural tshirt - but you need to be quick – numbers are limited.

Friends Photo and Poetry Competitions 2019
In conjunction with the Conference, Friends of the Alliance is hosting the 2019 amateur Photographic and Poetry Competitions to celebrate and capture the magic of life in rural and remote Australia.

Finalists from each Competition (photographs and poems) will be exhibited at the Conference and judged by the Conference delegates.

Conference delegates can cast their votes for their favourite photo and poem in the Competitions at the Alliance booth.

Friends of the Alliance
You can also join Friends or renew your Friends membership at the booth.

Friends is a network of people and organisations that supports the objectives of the National Rural Health Alliance. By joining Friends you will help the Alliance work towards its vision of "... good health and wellbeing in rural and remote Australia".

The Friends Advisory Committee is comprised of two representatives from each State and Territory, elected by Friends from each jurisdiction, plus two representatives from the Alliance Council. Elections for the Friends Advisory Committee are held every two years and the elections for the 2019-21 Committee will be held in May/June 2019.

If you are a Friends' member, please consider nominating for election to the Advisory Committee for 2019-21. Come along to the Alliance booth to talk to current members of the Friends Advisory Committee about the Committee’s role and work.

We hope to see you in Hobart soon.
