Department of Health and Aged Care
The Alliance, in partnership with the Consumers Health Forum of Australia (CHF), is working with the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care on a campaign for tailored consumer and health information regarding COVID-19 vaccination targeting people living and working in rural Australia.

NBN Co
The Alliance and nbn share the goal of creating a level playing field where people in rural and remote Australia can readily access face-to-face and virtual health care services. The Alliance’s vision is for healthy and sustainable rural, regional and remote communities across Australia, and we acknowledge and support the role of nbn in lifting digital capability and literacy, and for enabling digital health solutions.
nbn supports the Alliance’s Build ‘Em Up podcast, which features upbeat local community experiences and inspirational rural health stories to help build the health and wellbeing of rural, regional and remote communities around Australia.
We also work together as members of the Regional, Rural & Remote Communications Coalition, which aims to improve telecommunications in rural, regional and remote communities and increase access to affordable communications services. The Alliance also aims to help increase digital literacy and engagement on developments in telecommunications, including the Sky Muster™ satellite service which provides access to fast broadband service.

Reaching rural dads in partnership with SMS4dads
Research shows that dads are hard to reach in parenting education and their engagement with health services isn’t great. This is compounded for rural and remote dads who often experience limited services. Therefore, the Alliance has partnered with SMS4dads in a campaign to raise awareness around the important contribution dads make to their baby’s development and the support he provides the mother.
SMS4dads is now available free to all dads throughout Australia. It is specifically designed to provide information and support to dads from 12 weeks into their partner’s pregnancy and throughout the first year of parenthood.

Project Physio
Project Physio was founded in 2020, with the idea of combining travel with three different sources of interrelated service provision. Firstly providing locum physiotherapy services to clinics, hospitals, aged care facilities or any other clinical setting in need of an extra set of hands. Secondly, opening 'pop-up' clinics or offering additional community services in rural and remote areas that are currently under supplied. And thirdly, promoting the benefits of rural physiotherapy practice and encouraging other health professionals to do the same.
Project Physio kindly donate $1 from every consult to assist the work of the National Rural Health Alliance.
