Sexual violence response training

Monash University and the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine have developed an online training course for health practitioners in recognising and responding to patients who have experienced sexual violence.

This three-unit, CPD-accredited program addresses a known gap in medical training on sexual violence. The curriculum has been developed by forensic clinicians and nurses, with a focus on supporting professionals in rural and remote communities.

There is no charge for nurses, midwives or doctors undertaking the training.
