CarerHelp education sessions

CarerHelp, an online resource for Australians caring for someone towards the end of life, offers education sessions for rural health and aged care services.

There is information written for the lay community on a range of topics such as managing common symptoms, preparing for dying, and comforting the dying person.

There are useful videos both from carers sharing their experience and health professionals sharing practical knowledge. Useful templates are also available to help families keep track of medications and contact details. This resource can be beneficial to families and health professionals who work with families, particularly in rural areas.
