AIDA cultural safety workshops

Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA) will bring their face-to-face workshop ‘The Clinical Application of Cultural Safety’ to several state cities throughout the year.

The program is developed and delivered by Indigenous Doctors, as part of AIDA’s commitment to deliver training to individual practitioners nationwide in 2024.

The training helps participants to extend their knowledge about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture, explore how attitudes and values can influence perceptions, assumptions and behaviours in a clinical setting, and discuss specific ways to be more culturally aware.
