The Real Price of Health: Experiences of Out-of-Pocket Costs in Australia

Researchers from the Australian National University are conducting research examining the experiences of people with chronic illnesses when managing the costs of health care and medicines.

Understanding the impact of these costs on people’s day-to-day lives  is important to improve Australian healthcare equity.

This study will explore how people experience paying for health care and the choices they make.
