Cancer Council WA has created the Find Cancer Early program to improve cancer outcomes by increasing cancer symptom awareness and encouraging people to visit their doctor, clinic nurse or Aboriginal health worker if they notice any symptoms.
People in regional areas have worse cancer survival rates for all cancers combined compared to people in major cities. People are more likely to survive cancer if it’s found early and your postcode should not define your cancer outcome.
