Nursing lived experience study

The University of Newcastle, School of Nursing and Midwifery, is conducting research that aims to reveal the lived experience of Australian remote and rural nurses who have assisted in a disaster event.

If you are a registered nurse (RN) and have assisted in a disaster while working and living in rural or remote Australia in the past five years, you are invited to participate. Interviews will seek to illuminate and understand details of the experience, to help inform practice, education or local policy.

Interviews will take approximately one hour and can be conducted either face to face or via Zoom.
