Online perinatal mental health tools

Social isolation, extended waitlists and living in remote and regional communities can sometimes make it difficult to access more traditional perinatal support services. The Parent-Infant Research Institute (PIRI) have developed a range of evidence-based programs that can further extend the reach of perinatal mental health services, immediately break the long waitlist cycle and support face-to-face and existing telehealth services.

MumMoodBooster, an innovative world-first online postnatal depression treatment program, can be accessed via MumSpace, a website supporting the mental health and emotional wellbeing of pregnant women, new mums and their families.

PIRI has also developed DadSpace, a website dedicated to supporting fathers across Australia. It provides strategies, tips, resources and advice tailored to support men by helping them prepare for the arrival of a newborn and navigate the transition to parenthood.

PIRI are committed to working with families and health professionals to ensure better outcomes and a build a brighter future.
