The Alliance Chief Executive Susi Tegen highlighted the healthcare inequity faced by women in regional South Australia, given the unique circumstances in the region.
She highlighted on ABC Radio National PM that every Australian pays their taxes and their Medicare levy and that they contribute to the economy. As such, all Australians, including those living in rural and remote areas, deserve the care offered to their metropolitan counterparts.
