The Senate Community Affairs References Committee Inquiry into equitable access to diagnosis and treatment for individuals with rare and less common cancers, including neuroendocrine cancer, has considered the National Rural Health Alliance’s submission and verbal evidence, and included our recommendations in its’ report released this week.
In particular are two specific rural recommendations about patient-assisted travel schemes and investment in the use of telehealth and tele-trial technology and infrastructure, specifically for people living outside metropolitan areas.
