Susi Tegen, Chief Executive and Margaret Deerain, Director, Policy and Strategy Development from the National Rural Health Alliance appeared before the New South Wales Legislative Assembly Select Committee on Remote, Regional Health on 3 June to give a national perspective on the issues being faced by rural residents.
They discussed specific examples where NSW can take proactive action to address service gaps across the health system including committing to a rural and remote schedule to the next National Health Reform Agreement Addendum 2025-2030.
