Latest issue of Partyline out now – scholarly curiosity and professional drive abound in rural health

Thursday, 30 September 2021

Australia’s rural health research and training ecosystem is world leading; however, there remains a significant discrepancy in the grant allocation process, with less than one per cent of grant funding flowing through to rural health research. While our advocacy continues to increase the capacity of rural health research, it is also important to pause and reflect on the incredible people who contribute to the body of evidence on rural health and its clinical application in community settings. For example, in this edition of Partyline, we meet Emily, who supports her community’s women in the Fitzroy Valley in the Kimberley and Tony, who is the mastermind behind innovative courses for rural GPs in WA.
