Latest issue of Partyline out now!

Thursday, 14 September 2023

In our latest Partyline issue, we focus on the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in rural, regional and remote Australia, including innovative models of care that address health issues unique to these communities and their locations.

Indigenous people face many challenges related to their health and wellbeing. In rural and remote areas, they generally have lower life expectancy and a greater burden of disease. However, we know there are many positive initiatives, very often led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, that are successfully addressing these problems. In Partyline Issue #84, authors share stories of programs that have contributed to improved health outcomes for First Nations peoples.

We invite you to engage with this rich collection of articles from across Australia sharing important and inspiring stories, including insights into the First Nations approach to better health, which encompasses physical, social, emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing.
