It has been a year of challenges for rural and remote health - but also one of opportunities and rewarding moments. Let's never forget the advantages of life and work in rural and remote areas. Or perhaps we should say "the advantages of life with work in rural and remote areas", for the so-called social determinants of health are so critical.
There is much more to be done. And some of that work will be at the 13th National Rural Health Conference, for which registration is open.
The Council and staff of the Alliance would like to thank everyone for their on-going support for efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of people in rural and remote communities. We are looking forward to 2015!
