Complete the Department of Health survey for consumers and carers, healthcare providers and medical software vendors and have your say about the Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record (PCEHR) and the implementation of the PCEHR Review.
The survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/pcehrconsultation closes on 1 September 2014.
The PCEHR Review, released in May 2014, proposed that it be re-named 'My Health Record' and that it should become an opt-out system from 1 January 2015. The Alliance submission to the Review provided a number of practical suggestions for improving the system for people in rural and remote areas.
