Drought Angels began with two Queensland friends who wanted to thank local farming families, one at a time, for their unrelenting contribution to Australian agriculture. This gesture, in the form of personal support for life essentials, has grown into an extraordinary national enterprise.
For one of those amazing women, Natasha Johnston, and her husband Steele, Drought Angels has reshaped their world and fuels their love of the rural sector.
Motivated by her own family’s experience of adversity over the years, Natasha, Tash, didn’t hesitate to reach out and help other families during severe drought more than eight years ago. At the time, it was not quite the hobby that Steele expected Tash to take on, but they are an unstoppable positive force for families on the land.
We are delighted to share their story in our latest Build ‘Em Up podcast.
