We welcome our newest Member, Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA), to further our vision of healthy and sustainable rural, regional and remote communities across Australia.
ASA fosters, supports and advocates for sonographers as the experts in ultrasound, with a vision of creating a healthier world through sonographer expertise.
The ASA works for the sonography profession to provide extensive professional development opportunities, develop evidence-based resources and publications, and to ensure patients have access to safe and high-quality medical diagnostic ultrasound.
The ASA has over 7,000 members and a membership of more than 75 per cent of Australasia’s sonographers.
The Alliance is pleased to be the rural voice for ASA and looks forward to working with them to further our collective goals.
