Submission to the Examination of Children Affected by Family and Domestic Violence

Domestic and family violence has direct and significant health impacts that affect families in rural, regional and remote communities. This submission details the prevalence of domestic and family violence and highlights its correlation with socioeconomic disadvantage. The factors that influence rates of offending in rural and remote areas are also noted and recommendations are made to help address the issue of domestic and family violence.
