The Alliance gave evidence to the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Health at a public hearing for the Inquiry into Skin Cancer in Australia and highlighted key points from its submission. Particular challenges for the effective prevention, early diagnoisis and ongoing management of skin cancers away from the major cities and regional centres, including patient accommodation and transport and shortages of specialists including dermatologists were discussed.
