NRHA reiterates its long term commitment to the development of a flexible, responsive and sustainable workforce to serve the health needs of rural and remote Australia. It calls for the development of a clear, national approach to health workforce reform, and warns of the potential for changes to the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme to have unwanted negative impacts on under-served rural and remote communities, particularly with regard to accessing training, education and continuing professional development.
