2017 Budget Priorities - Letter to the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer

07 February 2017

The Alliance is seeking from Government a long-term commitment to improving the health and
wellbeing of the 7 million Australians who live outside the major centres by setting out our
key points to achieve this goal.
The Alliance believes that in committing to improve the long-term health and wellbeing of those living
outside the major cities, Australia will benefit from increased productivity through higher employment
growth and reduced long-term burden of disease leading to an even greater capacity to contribute to
Australia’s economic wellbeing.
