NRHA 2013 Election Charter Launch

14 August 2013

Shining a light on rural and remote health

Wednesday 14 August 2013 - Private Dining Room 1, Old Parliament House, Canberra

In its 2013 Election Charter, the Alliance calls for a strong focus on rural and remote health in the Election Campaign. The Charter outlines seven rural health domains in which the Alliance seeks ongoing and new commitments from the major parties. The Alliance’s Scorecard summarises how, in government, the parties would improve the health and wellbeing of people in rural and remote areas.

The launch of the Election Charter and Scorecard was also the occasion for launching the Alliance's new website and releasing the first of its rural health infographics.

Lesley Barclay, Chair of the Alliance, welcomed speakers to the event: Tony Windsor, Andrew Leigh, Andrew Laming and Richard di Natale.
