The 7th Rural and Remote Health Scientific Symposium is brought to you by the Australian Rural Health Education Network (ARHEN), the Federation of Rural Australian Medical Educators (FRAME), the Lowitja Institute and the National Rural Health Alliance (NRHA).
The theme of the 7th Rural and Remote Health Scientific Symposium is: Shaping the future
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Symposium will now be held in two parts: a virtual pre-Symposium session in May 2020, and, all being well, the face-to-face event in Alice Springs 24-25 May 2021.
It will bring together the rural and remote health research sector with policy makers and others in the government and the non-government sectors to shape the future of rural and remote health research in Australia. The Symposium will provide the opportunity for general presentations, high quality keynote speakers, a range of interactive sessions, a series of short lightning talk presentations and poster presentations from emerging and active researchers. We expect to open a new call for abstracts in July 2020.
Virtual Q&A Session
'How humans and the environment interact'
Who should attend: The program content will be of interest to academics, researchers, policymakers, health professionals, and those from the government not-for-profit sectors.
