The 7th Rural and Remote Health Scientific Symposium is brought to you by the Australian Rural Health Education Network (ARHEN), the Federation of Rural Australian Medical Educators (FRAME), the Lowitja Institute and the National Rural Health Alliance (NRHA).
The Symposium was scheduled to be held in Alice Springs in May 2020 but will not longer be held as a a face-to-face event. We are investigating ways of bringing you some of the content online now, and holding the rest of the event in Alice Springs in May next year. Stay tuned!
It will bring together the rural and remote health research sector with policy makers and others in the government and the non-government sectors to shape the future of rural and remote health research.
The theme of the 7th Rural and Remote Health Scientific Symposium is: Shaping the future
The Symposium will provide the opportunity for general presentations, high quality keynote speakers, a range of interactive sessions, a series of short lightning talk presentations and poster presentations from emerging and active researchers. The event was to be held in Alice Springs in May 2020 but due to the coronavirus we are now investigating alternate ways of delivering some of this outstanding content.
Who should attend: The program content will be of interest to academics, researchers, policymakers, health professionals, and those from the government not-for-profit sectors.
