In promoting and managing the 12th National Rural Health Conference, the National Rural Health Alliance is committed to supporting the National Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

The NRHA will collect and store information provided in the registration, abstract and exhibition processes for the purpose of enabling it to register individuals and organisations and to facilitate their requirements in relation to the Conference (including the provision of follow-up material from the Alliance), to allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relating to the Conference, and to assist with the administration and planning of future Conferences and other Alliance events.

Specifically, the NRHA may disclose information collected in the registration process, such as name and organisation, to other Conference delegates.

The NRHA will not otherwise, without the consent of individuals involved, use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those specified here, except as is permitted or required by law.
